Going also. Low key trip with teenage daughter. It sounds like Aggieland 30+ years ago. Not a lot going on, but it's my 3rd to last SEC stadium to check off, so to StarkVegas we go.

I'm buying the cheapest ticket available and moving down and toward any Aggie section. There will probably be lots of empty seats for this game

I went to Starkville about eight years ago. The people were really nice there and there's quite a bit of tailgating before the game all around. Can't really remember some of the places to hang out but have a good time.

Ms state giving UGA all they can handle

I haven't been crazy impressed with Georgia this year, but Mississippi State is definitely more dangerous than their record.

Yes, this will be a very close game if our Defense doesn't show up......gotta lock down their running game first and not let the new QB scramble on us......I would bet Miss State and take the points.

My experiences with Miss State fans was the opposite. They were playing at Kyle that year. Our ranch has a single road in and out but we have a recessed gate and cattle guard. Friday afternoon before the game I had an appointment and needed to leave. Some Miss State fans (coming from Dallas from that direction) have managed to wreck the bumper off of the car they were towing behind their RV. They decide to pull over in front of our driveway entrance, completely blocking it off.

When I get to the entrance and see they have it blocked off, explain I have an appointment and need to leave, can they pull up on the shoulder a bit so I can leave, please? Their response? "Go around, b****)

Now, our entrance is on a very busy two lane that has a lot of truck traffic and we are between two curves on each side, meaning very limited visibility in either direction. Also meant I would have to go into a bar ditch and it had rained the night before and there was standing water. I call The Hubs back at the house and tell him to get up there and get those folks gone before I got back. Had to drive into the bar ditch, maneuver around them and pray I'm not pulling out in front of an oncoming vehicle because I have no visibility over their RV.

I made it to my appointment but damn I was mad.

I could never, those fng cow bells.

Well that's just rude. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Honestly if they had said that to me, I would've told him they can either move or I will ram their car. Their choice. And to just try me if they don't believe me. I grew up driving in Houston and it comes out sometimes. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at someone and basically said you can either let me in or I'll hit you. What I've actually done it? Possibly.

When we went to MSU, we were very heavily favored to win and we lost. It was a game where we just looked awful from the first play.

When we were leaving, they were all very generous and saying wow we can't believe we won.

But you just never know. I heard for years how awful the Texas Tech people were and I know the students can be but the only time I ever went was 2011 and everybody we encountered was lovely. Now weren't sitting anywhere near the students, we were in the Aggie section. We stayed in a really nice hotel that was walking distance from the stadium. The alumni were really nice.

We also have 28-14, 49-30, 30-17, 38-13, 51-41 on the resume. So basically, 6 double digit wins in the last 11 meetings. When we beat them, it's usually a pretty comfortable win. I think odds favor another double digit win this weekend.

Unfortunately, our overall record is 6-5. We have lost 42-24, 26-22, 35-14, 35-28, and 48-31.

In reality, the VAST MAJORITY of these games have been a double digit wins (11 out of 13) and pretty lopsided. You knew basically after the 1st half who was going to win nearly every game we have had with them. It's almost like the anti-Arkansas. Arkansas almost always plays us tough, but our overall record against them dominates them. Whereas Miss State is nearly even, but when we do win, they don't play us nearly as tough as we win comfortably.
