I'm sure it is, because in this day of transfer portal/NIL, the LAST thing the college football gurus would expect is that they might have to consider an undefeated service academy as the auto pick for the non-power 4

In that list I'd say that Ohio St, Clemson and ND are virtual locks to make the playoffs. The rest have a lot of work to do.

One thing is clear. UGa's loss made a victory over the sips critical for them. The sips have a very thin margin for error outside that game.

This completely escaped me. If it happens, the Army Navy game will be an exhibition game I guess.

would losing the SEC CCG and being 10-3 better than sitting at home and staying 10-2 ?

With the much larger conferences the SEC & B1G teams that Miss the CCG game are probably safer than the loser
