Defense looks decent and very proud they stepped up even after being on the field a lot more than Arky up until Q4.

Texas Aggies at 2-0 sit atop the SEC standings with Missouri, LSU, tu at 1-0. Bama and Tenn are ther other unbeatens at 1-0 after tonight. Since we play the 3 at home while Bama plays Tenn, if both Bama and Texas Aggies win out, we will play each other in the SEC title game guaranteed at this point. Everyone else is guaranteed to have a loss or several.


Let's keep on this course as long as we can. Just win.

I definitely did not think we would blow them out. Any conference win is a good win.

Mike Elko has improved to 2-0 in games decided by 6 points or fewer. I think we will have double digit wins over Mississippi State, New Mexico State, and Auburn, but our other 4 remaining games against Missouri, LSU, South Carolina, and Texas will probably be close.

I agree. I think we'll beat Missouri. Yes, Missouri will be coming off a bye week, but they be playing their first road game of the year after opening the season with 4 consecutive home games. Missouri is ranked No. 11, but they have not been impressive in their last two home games. Missouri trailed Boston College 14-3 with 9:44 left in the 2nd quarter before escaping with a narrow 27-21 home win on 9/14. It was even more surprising how escaped with a 30-27 2-OT home win over a Vanderbilt on 9/21. Vanderbilt had lost their previous 9 SEC games by 16+ points each, dating back to a 56-0 home loss to Tennessee on 11/26/22, but they nearly upset Missouri on the road. I will be going to the Missouri game with my friend and his wife.

Glad we won, but we just do not pass the eye test on offense. Good news is we play a lot of bad teams this year. We are an 8-4 team with a pretty good defense. It all runs through the QB. That and WR are the limiting factors.

Hopefully the Missouri game is like ole miss v Kentucky. Ole Miss loses at home to their first actual challenge of the season. Missouri has almost lost twice and now has their first real challenge in their first road game.

Vandy beat Va Tech and VT actually beat Miami but got robbed by the ACC. A top 10 ranking means nothing at this point.

Tu beat a weak Miss State team at home this week. Do they deserve to stay number 1 or should they drop below Bama and Ohio at least. Georgia is going to be hard to beat the rest of the year after almost beating Bama. They will crush tu.

They won at Auburn last week and will definitely be a bowl worthy SEC team.
