Yes, the formula at the bottom does get more accurate as the season goes on; but the side-by-side stats are the real guts of the sheet.

At the same time, our stats should have been inflated by our games against bad McNeese and Florida teams.

I assume Petrino has full freedom with Arky's offense, unlike his brief stint here. That does not bode well for our defense.

I decided F- it... went back and re-linked all the web-queries to Div 1 FBS only statistics; so for the TEAM STATS, and the Quarter by Quarter SCORING (not the player stats); the FCS teams are removed... paints a more accurate picture, IMO...

I think we force 1-2 more turnovers than they do; and that seals the game.

I see it being fairly close Aggie lead at half 14-10 or 16-13; and then we pull away in the 4th to make it 30-17 or 30-20, and they get a late score like BGSU and have to go for an onside kick which we recover to win the game.

We pound the run game for 225+ and pass for 200+ or so against their soft secondary.

They attempt to do the same to us, but our DL stuffs the run, except for 1-2 explosive plays by their QB10 and our secondary probably has a bust or 2, but also pick off Green 2 or 3 times as well.

Even simpler, our 1 and only loss was the 1 week no one started a hotties thread.

We were 0-3 vs Arky at JerruhWorld before we joined the SEC while Petrino was coach.
We are 11-1 vs Arky since joining the SEC but we played at least one at Kyle in 2012 due to the conference realignment. Can't remember if we went to Fayetteville for a game or not.
So we are either 9-4 or 10-4 at JerruhWorld

We played in Fayetteville in 2013.

one thing to give Sumlin credit for...

he turned around the Ags' fortunes in Jerry's palace

including the Cotton Bowl vs. LSU...A&M (under Sherman) started 0-4 at Cowboys Stadium

but then the wins began with the 1/4/13 Cotton Bowl vs. OU (under Sumlin)...

and they haven't stopped other than the 2021 loss

I was there for that game, visiting my gf at the time- wanted to break up but also wanted a ticket to the game and a place to crash lol

Surreal experience in Fayetteville for my first time. Had no idea how beautiful it was, the bridges and valleys coming in amazed me. As the game went into the night dense clouds rolled in, enshrouding the stadium. It felt so quiet and isolated. Like a snowglobe but no snow, just a misty drizzle. Great memory, fun game watching Johnny do his thang

My guess is we will see what a Bobby Petrino offense could have looked like at A&M last year if weren't for Jimbo.

I think Arkansas tops us 28 -24.
