Back in June, it was announced that the Arkansas game time will be in the afternoon. It will be 2:30, 3:00, or 3:30 PM.

2024 Football Schedule - Texas A&M Athletics - 12thMan.com

Even ESPN says 3:30-4:30 PM eastern.

You need to read up on the new Flex scheduling system the SEC is using, now that all the TV rights are held by one company. Many gametimes are set months in advance, and the others are assigned ranges so that you have some idea when they will be played before the season starts.

11AM ABC is either the 2nd or 3rd best SEC game of the week.

My understanding is morning games are were announced meaning if not announced as a morning game it would be either afternoon or night

My understanding is morning games are were announced meaning if not announced as a morning game it would be either afternoon or night


Games are designated "early"-starting between 11-12, "afternoon"-starting between 2:30-3:30, and "evening" stating between 6-7. Some games are just given "flex" which means they could be anytime. The Arky game is designated Afternoon.

The way ESiPN treats us, the game will start at 2:30 but they will keep airing a 40 point blowout and we won't actually get on TV until 3:30.

No. If anything, ESPN will want that game to stand out as a big game to funnel viewers to right after game day.


And since it is currently the only ranked vs ranked matchup that weekend, we might get game day on campus again.

The Arkansas vs Texas A&M, Oklahoma at Auburn, and Mississippi State at Texas will all air in the afternoon window, at either 2:30 p.m. or 3:15 p.m. on ABC, ESPN or the SEC Network. The final kickoff times and TV assignments will be announced late Saturday or Sunday.

Cal at Miami? I am sure that match up will be played before thousands of empty seats at Joe Robbie Dolphins Pro Player Sun Life Land Shark Hard Rock Stadium.

The problem is that may be only chance Game Day has for an ACC game. Considering our recent record on CFB Game Day, I would be happy to see Game Day in the Gables.
