Head coaches rarely make the "tough decisions" many on here are asking Elko to make these days. NIL donors, boards, alumni, etc have been given so much power it's ridiculous. Go back to the old days of actually recruiting talent and raising players up in your system, letting coaches coach, and not being bought…. Just saying. The college game has become a semi pro organization and the Coach is just a pawn in the game. Yes those donors are so very important, but so is letting the Coach be the Coach and them being the ones who love this school and want to support it. Hate how the pureness of college football is a thing of the past.
