He will be real and critical. Curious if he will question why he was so bad. McGee along with many others, myself included did not think he could play that bad.

This. For all the know nothings on this board claiming play calling, poor defense, etc was the reason we lost. Reality CW sucked that bad. He had decent time in the pocket. He either missed open receivers or flat out didn't see them. He was atrocious.

The question to ask is why. I can't believe his accuracy was THIS BAD in practice and he still got the start.

As hard as it is to believe, CW was not the worst in conference yesterday. I didn't think it was possible to be worse.

He was soooooo bad. His best game in an A&M uniform is miami? And we lost. He also got lots of garbage time stats in that game.

He ain't it.

Henderson was really solid last year against sec competition. Maybe he won't win a hiesman but he is better than Connor.

Let's play Henderson and look for the next great thing in the portal. Please god.

Yeah I keep seeing the pumpers (and even some ESPN analysts) point to that Miami game as a bright spot for some reason. I don't get it.

7-6 Miami at that. Not sure why decent stats against a mediocre ACC team is supposed to be impressive.

Nd's defense does that to almost every qb, no need to panic. That defense is way better than the one we had in 2022 and they made cj stroudt and Marvin harrison look subpar

Mertz threw for nine less yards but in his defense he threw one less interception that Weigman.

I believe that was one of the failed 4th downs. The second pick was just another bad throw, there was no potential offside or even an attempt to draw them offside.

Both INTs he had plenty of time to throw. First one he sailed over our 6' 6" receiver. The second one was 3 feet behind and at the feet of the receiver, right into the hands of the trailer defender.
