100% we win if we had a QB who could hit a receiver 5 yards down the field. And the announcers running down the receivers are morons, even the completions are off target.

The reason we lost this game was our receivers. Weigman wasn't great. OL was fine. But we sucked at getting open. They ate us alive. Slow , slow, slow.

This is Coach #7 since I've been watching the Ags. Things don't change

I predicted us losing 28-24. Apparently we will not score 24 against power 5 schools.

They are better than us.

Hate to blame it on a kid but the games 100% on Connor Wiegman.

He just played objectively horrible. Seemed like he had no clue what was happening.

The offense sucked. Grade F

Agree completely. Weigman has been overrated from the beginning. Jaylen has field vision which Connor lacks. Expect them to have an equal number of snaps next week.

9 wins? Surely you aren't talking about the last coach that averaged just over 7 wins/season?

QB inability to:
1.execute the read option
2.find open receiver
3.throw a catchable ball to WRs

WRs inability to:
1. Run crisp routes to create separation
2. Increase catch radius to help a struggling QB
3. Get significant YAC (hard to do with 5yd outs to the sideline 75% of the time.

Defense inability to
1. Create TOs
2. Physically punish the opposing QB
3. Complete TFL on first contact

Offense

Play calling reminds me of jimbo's. Same crappy plays that don't work over and over again. No two back offense option to gash them with in short yardage situations. No situational awareness. You have success with a running back on the series to score a touchdown then you go back to running outside for losses on the very next series It's jimbo 2.0!

I don't know who is worse. Weigman or Colin Klein. Both are totally inept.

Man even our 5* QBs suck.

Elko. we weren't gonna drive down and score with a minute and 40 seconds to go, regardless, but fourth and one and a half yards and you put the ball in the hands of a quarterback that has played terribly all game, has shown no accuracy, and count on him to make an accurate, tight throw. Is anyone surprised that he didn't? I get not wanting to overreact, but there's no excuse for not benching Weigman. He shouldn't have played in the third and certainly not in the fourth.
