Celebrity picker on game day? You gonna buy him a shot if you see him?
SNL really wanted him, general media was cool with him I think. It was a small, very loud group online that wanted to take a stand on something and he ended up in the crosshairs.AustinAg2K said:
It's kind of surprising (but also not) that ESPN would let Gillis on. Three years ago, he was one of the most toxic guys out there. He never really apologized, but he did come out with a great Trump impersonation, and all of a sudden the media loves him.
People got over it. Thankfully people are realizing it is stupid to try and cancel a comedian for telling jokes.AustinAg2K said:

Wouldn't hurt ratings right now to have him on, guy is one of the hot comedians today. ESPN has had plenty of "controversial" guest pickers over the years, he is a comedian and too many people get offended by them these days.

He's a Notre Dame fan, Bill.
I mean, our only real celeb alums are Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen. While they are legends to all of us, probably don't move the needle in any other capacity.astros4545 said:Always a home team fan, except when its the Aggies1876er said:FLAg18 said:

This is acutally true
I'd say Manziel and Von Miller are pretty big celebs and would definitely move the needle for fans tuned into College GameDay.ccolley68 said:I mean, our only real celeb alums are Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen.
