We are clearly missing on HS WR recruits and not winning those battles (a few left on the board, but need more than 1 commit), but wonder what is the strategy of the staff? Is it portal (which we were mediocre as missed several top offers last yr) or are we backing off recruits?

I have full confidence in Klein offense (guess others need to see it in action), but WR corps depth is lacking in upcoming classes.

Hoping to see at least 2 or 3 more WRs added, but who knows at this point.

We're going to have to prove that we will throw the ball before WRs are going to feel comfortable coming here.

You think you'd want to at least somewhat verify something before you post it as fact.

Step 1 for us is to get the ball to our 4 star receivers this year. If we can do that, the rest will take care of itself.

It feels like half the top 10 NFL WR's are former OSU 5 stars. Since OSU has nothing to show for it, maybe it's not that critical to count 5 star WR's.

We have enough talent on offense to score a lot of points. There is talent all over the field on offense. This team needs a leader, and playmakers.

A good coaching staff identifies the leaders and playmakers on a team and puts the ball in their hands. That's what we have been missing.

This! We aren't devoid of talent especially on offense. We do lack experienced top end speed but Campbell has elite speed and Bussey can fly too, need to find ways to get them the ball. The tight end is going to get a lot of action in this offense, so will the RB out of the back field. Hopefully Owens can provide some much needed juice.

Johnson is a stud but Lockett was a real possibility a couple months ago. I'll be watching that one closely
