Anyone else notice that the song is way too short? Everyone gets amped up and then right when the energy starts to peak, it just abruptly ends and completely kills the atmosphere. Think they will fix it and extend it another 30-45 seconds, or continue with the stupidity of abruptly ending it too soon?

My guess is no. Surfaces is a local band with name recognition. And doing so is embarrassing to the school. Plus there might be a work off of at least 77….cents that is.

Well they should at least make it like 1 minute longer and fade it out as the band starts to play so it doesn't sound so bush league

This has been my issue with the entrance since Power started being played. It hits a brick wall and a hard stop straight into the band playing. It feels like a different order of things or at least some fading of the entrance song would help keep the mood up vs being such a jarring hard stop.

We should hire someone from WWE as a consultant to help fix our entrance programming. And maybe even come up for different versions for day vs night games since they are usually very different moods.

I think you just gave away your bias. Thanks for playing. Surfaces has hits. Why do you start by denying that?

Seems we have this embarrassing problem of premature presentation. The crowd gets all worked up and then- wham, it's over.

Because we have to sing the War Hymn. This is what kills the atmosphere. Not stopping the entrance song too early.

I hate that by the way. And I'm an old.

We should play/sing the War Hymn, and the team should run out right as we start sawing varsity's horns off.
