Haven't finished it yet, but seems like a good interview so far.
The program was far more popular nationally during the two years with JFF than at any other time. PERIOD!Not Coach Jimbo said:
The house that Johnny built thing is so annoying to me.
Plans were already in the works before Johnny had his run... the plans were approved 2 months after winning the heisman.
Cheapens the university and athletic program. Kyle field was great before the renovation... the football program had success before Johnny.
This is so much BS!!!! The Johnny era lasted 2 years, other great eras lasted 3 and 4 years and longer. The Johnny era was a flash in the pan!!!!phillytex24 said:
The Manziel era was so magical! Best era at TAMU for football in our lifetimes and with all the money & new stadium we've not been able to recreate the magic. It's because it was organic. You can't create magic like that. Johnny was the force behind it, but sadly he's been his own downfall as well. We might never have an era like the Johnny Football one ever again.I relish those memories. That time was so exciting!

Yeah but 2012 I had more fun and was more entertained watching Aggie football than at any other time before or since.aeon-ag said:This is so much BS!!!! The Johnny era lasted 2 years, other great eras lasted 3 and 4 years and longer. The Johnny era was a flash in the pan!!!!phillytex24 said:

. . . According to Darren Rovell of ESPN.com, Manziel has filed for several trademarks including "The House That Johnny Built."
But according to Rovell, the trademark has already been applied for and it comes from none other than Manziel's longtime friend Nate Fitch. Fitch saw his name in the news at the height of Manziel's autograph scandal before the 2013 season as the leader of Manziel's crew and serving as a part-time agent of sorts to the Aggie quarterback.
. . .
"Fitch's mother, Rachel, declined to comment. Her attorney Gerald Fowler told ESPN.com that it was his understanding that Nate and Johnny were going to use the mark together."
Rovell writes that Fitch Estate Sales filed for the trademark in December and that Manziel filed a month later with the same request. Both parties hope to use the term for athletic apparel according to the US Trademark & Patent Office.
"Fowler said the trademark, an obvious play on the famous Babe Ruth/Yankee Stadium phrase, was a reference to the renovation of Texas A&M's Kyle Field, a $450 million project, which will expand seating capacity to 102,500 and is scheduled to be completed in time for the 2015 football season," Rovell said. "A Texas A&M official did not immediately return a call seeking comment as to whether Manziel had discussed his trademark filing with the school."
