Quick release, good velocity, good movement against pressure and keeps his eyes downfield... arm motion from about 7/8 slot up to full overhead slot. Solid mechanics all around.

Looks like Calzada throwing the ball to a RB out in the flat

But can he stand firm in the pocket without dancing feet? Can he run away from DE's coming at him? Can he take multiple hits per game?

Yeah. Small number of clips there. But hoping this kid doesn't throw bullet passes for each and every throw, even if accurate. Every pass there regardless of distance was about 150 mph. Not a bad thing to have arm strength though.

We offered him which means he is a very good prospect

Prospect being the key word
If both QB1 & QB2 make full recoveries and stay healthy
QB will be fine

And he didn't bail on us with the coaching change. That says a lot to me.

Fisher recruit. No elbow drop like King. This guy throws it 100 mph like Calzada . Hope this one is closer to Weigman accuracy than Calzada or King inaccuracy.

I like that torpedo arm.

Great arm strength and as others said, would like to see if he can drop it over the LB's and in front of the safeties touch too. Especially while moving/escaping the rush.

Either way, can't wait to root for him !

Excellent clips. Arm strength, quick release, and good arm angle. Very solid mechnaical foundation.

I laughed out loud. That dude had to have broken a couple of Isaiah's fingers once or twice throwing that damn hard for no reason.

Danged ol' Miles man. He's just a good o'l boy in good ol' boy shape. Arm like a got damn cannon. Big air, don't care. That's Miles. Putting a big ol' dip in before he hits the field. That's danged ol' Miles man. Showing up to the games a few beers deep just so he knows he can throw every one of those mother****in laser beams down the middle and two step out the door. That's Miles. If you could smoke on the field while throwing a TD, or ride an ATV on the sidelines, he'd be doing it.

Meh...he'll hit the portal if he doesn't get any playing time here.

Calzada accuracy was fine- it was his inability to anticipate and throw to receivers when necessary.

He had the fastest bullets and the slowest draw around.

He woulda been dead at 17 if this was the Old West.

Exactly. Timing is a part of accuracy. Recognizing the receiver and putting the ball where the receiver will be. Calzada slow reaction and King's elbow drop hitch in throwing motion meant late behind receiver throws. Inaccuracy cost us games. Calzada bullets to our TE at 8 yards away ruined TE draft stock.
