Elko is up to about 5 portal DB's coming in now.. all 6'2" or taller (love it)… made me think, did our old DB's hit the portal on their own and make it sound good in their tweets??… or were they more less told you need to look elsewhere?

it was mentioned by ta staff that a plyer showed up laste and was closed out of the meeting but they never said who the player was or what position the player played.

Closed out of the meeting is not the same as being asked to leave.

That's why I said guys like... Guys with a motor who go after the ball.

You don't need to take everything so literal, especially jokes.

Being asked to leave is also not necessarily a sign of a culture problem that existed, or with their talent, etc.

If the system is different, the philosophy is different, it's the upright thing to do to level with your players and tell them up front that you don't see a role for them anymore, to shake their hand and wish them the best.

If these young men want to be compensated like this is a business (and it is)... then they have to be able to accept that they will be treated like they would in any other business. Nothing personal.

I have wondered the same thing if some of the current players have been told by Elko they should look for other options outside of A&M.
