That seems like a crazy line to me after Penix's performance against Bevo. I wondered what all of you thought about it. If I were in Vegas I'd put money on UW to win and hope for a decent payout.
We get it. You're confident that UW will win. You don't have to tell us twice.dabo man said:
If I were in Vegas I'd put about $75 (an amount I can afford to lose and not sulk afterwards) on UW to win and go to a sports book to watch. As I'm in Missouri I'll watch alone on TV and hope for a UW win.

Texas is good in the trenches, the DL in particular. Didn't translate to an easy win when Penix played like he was GD Tom Brady.Onionman said:
I'm actually shocked Mich is not favored by more.
Mich has much better dudes in the trenches. I think Mich wins easily.
I'm not enough of a gambler that I'd bother setting up an account of any kind.Quote:

Wash D-line is lacking. Mich will be able to run the ball well and keep W offense off the field. It'll be fun to watch W offense against a solid defense.
I expect it to be another blowout. Michigan wins by 20+.KCup17 said:
Michigan will try to dominate the trenches and run the ball down Washington's throat. It's gonna be an interesting game since Texas ran the ball pretty well on Washington. We will see how Washingtons receivers do against the UM pass defense. I expect it to be a close game.
Texas ranks 52nd in sacks. Mich is 19.Actual Talking Thermos said:Texas is good in the trenches, the DL in particular. Didn't translate to an easy win when Penix played like he was GD Tom Brady.Onionman said:

They are good but they don't match up well with Mich IMO. And if their RB is out then that definitely hurts them. But if Penix isn't pressured and he plays like Tom Brady again, then they have a chance.Detmersdislocatedshoulder said:
washington is much better than anyone is giving them credit for. the two injuries hurt if the db and rb cant play but i would be surprised to see michigan roll washington. kellen deboer teams don%92t get rolled often and if penix plays like he did against the shorthorns watch out.
I thought it would open at -7 Mich. Maybe it will get there before kickoff.Hungry Ojos said:
Crazy, I thought for sure the line would open at least at -6.5. I'm sure it'll get there before kickoff. I don't see this game being very competitive. Although UM does have a recent knack of flopping in big games (see lol TCU last year).
I agree. I often like going with the team with a better QB. It seems to work more than it doesn't. However, in this case not expecting that to work out.Bluecat_Aggie94 said:
Some words of caution:
1) Don't fall prey to analysis based on what you want to be true because of your hatred of the Longhorns. I've been guilty of that too many times to count.
2) Don't underestimate the equalizing factor of a really good QB.
3) And while all the commentary is pretty much about UW's offense v Michigan's defense, you've got the other matchup as well.
I think this will stay close enough that a big special teams play or a timely turnover will decide the game.
Vegas didn't think anything, they just know how easily everyone is influenced by the media so would be betting on sip.Dale Gribble said:Bill Superman said:

They were favored by 3.5 over UW so Vegas thinks they are similar.
