Not really. It is just so many of the High School football players look like they are in their mid-20's. I don't know why (maybe nutrition, maybe working out all the time, maybe supplements, whatever), but many high school football recruits look older than normal High School students.AggieArchitect04 said:

If I recall correctly the reason was due to the high academic standards needed to attend these universities at the time.

Shaun Slocum left him on hold. I heard this from an SEC HC at the time.
SEC coaches just as clueless since he ended up at Purdue.
