I like this 2024-25 team.

1. This team chose to be here, and to be together.
2. LOTS of offensive talent, including QB, OL & WR.
3. LOTS of defensive talent.
4. LOTS of mature players; we're not young again.
5. Coach Elko is focused on the right things for now, and the future.
6. Modern offense.
7. Coach Elko will ensure the defense is right.
8. New OL coach.
9. Proven strength & conditioning coach.
10. Highly rated recruits and experienced transfers on the way.
11. Incredible facilities.
12. The 12th Man stands ready, always. LFG.

I'm with you. Our DB's may be better than last year and front 7 should remain solid. If our OL jells and stays healthy, it should be a good season.

what other program has had QB1 hurt 3 years in a row? we need to catch a break next year.

What other program has had QB1 & QB2 hurt 2 years in a row? Goal #1 for elko should be to fix that.

With actual coaching and development every player should play a star better than their ranking. Plenty of talent is left on this team and guys like Moose may actually get utilized. 8 wins is the floor and could be a 10 win team with hard work. Very do-able.

Shoefly, good point. I was just thinking about a staring skill position group that looks capable of earning a top 12 playoff spot.

The recruits we're adding today look very solid too. Let's go!

I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll see improved offense and defense next year.

I still think it's likely we see 8-4 though.

Trotting out the same group as 2023, minus Robinson, this is still a HUGE question mark.
