This entire A&M program is ran by the most dysfunctional group of buffoons ever gathered in one spot. We had an opportunity to turn the page and dominate college football in the State of Texas, but nope, not us.

We'd **** up a one car funeral.

Now, Elko, who I 100% support, is set up to fail for the next 5-6 years, UNLESS he gets in that portal and starts bringing in offensive studs. This will be the era we look back and say, "What the **** happened?"

He destroyed our program. but rebounds happen fast. This is gonna get worse before it gets better but it will get better.

Sip is gonna be in a real conference next year - that solves Sip. They'll be a blip this year barring the unthinkable.

Walt is pursuing the NFL. That's more likely for him under an established coach. He's playing the odds and I can't blame him.

And Elko may have all the upside in the world but hiring him hasn't impressed much of anyone just yet. He's got few expectations left at his doorstep. This is his team to make or break.

I'm going to choose to put Jimbo in my rear view mirror. Not his fault that he overvalued himself.

I love Coach Rob. Don't get me wrong. But when did one position coach become the very identity of Texas A&M football?

Since the last two weeks of the season Coach Robinson preached and showed everyone he exemplified what A&M and an ideal program is about. Can't blame him for leaving if he wasn't getting offered what he believed he was ready for - that was Elko's decision and now he'll need to prove he can overcome that.

The Elko honeymoon phase is over - time to start taking steps toward building his program this week. Recruiting, staffing, portal - take your pick, but another slow week of nothing would really set very low expectations for next year and the year after.

You need to prepare yourself for the alternative……

Like I left the NFL

Elko has already hired a defensive line coach, with 20 years of experience. The new DL also coached with Elko at Hofstra and with the New York Giants as well. His last stop was with Napier over at Florida, but from the sound of it, the 29 year old defensive coordinator didn't mesh with Spencer. Also, Spencer's contract would have been up in January. Time for all the Chicken Littles here to take a break

Someone told them about the Indian burial grounds under Kyle Field.

Jimbo's issues with this may have been deeper rooted than that. Elko's may be tied to him being a newer HC (only two years as a HC previously) and the fact some of his targets are committed through bowl games (the guys you probably really want aren't all fired by this point). Still, need to fill out the staff relatively quickly so players - current and future - know who is going to be implementing Elko's plan
