Stoops's record has not been much different from Rich Brooks's tenure at Kentucky and the East was MUCH better when Brooks was there. That was when Florida had Meyer, Tenn (Fulmer), Georgia & S. Carolina (Spurrier) were all good.
The East has been very mediocre for most of Stoops tenure and he could never breakthrough despite Mizzou doing it.
Temd to agree. Give him a shot. People laughing at his record don't appreciate hate how terrible a football program Kentucky is. He won 10 games there twice. They had won 10 games once since 1950 before he got there. You simply can't predict what he will do with much more talent at his disposal. The last time he had our level of talent potential was FSU. He had the 6th ranked scoring defense and 2nd ranked yardage defense in 2012 and was top 5 in both categories in 2011.Heuberger said:
