Not to make it about race, because I don't think that's what OP intended, but people tend to make comparisons based on race first without really thinking about more important qualities in a comp.

I know we were missing Evan badly. But I'm not so sure Henderson could throw an accurate deep ball without it being overthrown or picked off.

Henderson was 25 -35 with 4 really blatant drops. Almost had 300 yards passing. His numbers in 2 sec games are really good.

Because you saw his speed deficit vs the elite lsu speed instead of more mediocre MS talent. Same guy. Difference was who was on other side.
