We fired our coach the morning after beating them 51-10. It would be embarrassing for them not to fire their coach. We basically forced their hand.

maybe midseason? no doubt it's happened after the final game. they weren't technically fired but i think broyles and royal both "retired" after the same game.

Ole Piss WR did a dog pissing celebration, got a 15 yard penalty, PAT was missed, both HC fired…

Idk how bad he really was, but seems like going against a stacked deck having to come fill in for a suddenly decreased legendary head coach on the worst team in the best division in cfb. Some people get the short end of the stick handed to them.

tough situation but he made his bed when he decided to go an entirely different direction on offense

transfer portal has changed the game. so much tampering going on. people worry about the high school recruiting classes when the bigger worry today is losing your best players right now in the portal rather than losing your future talent.

Probably has more to do with competition for coaches. If you're gonna pull the trigger, you can't wait until the top targets have signed with other schools. Now that we've moved, others will be forced to move.
