Jimbo got his QBs killed at Florida State without Addazio's help.

He can't identify good OL coaches and won't get rid of the bad ones.

I went to a restaurant last night that had Michigan-Purdue on. Early in the 4th quarter they showed the pressure stats for the Michigan qb: 3 sacks, 1 pressure, 1 qb hit. At that pace it would take him all season to get to the stats that max faces every game (on ~35 dropbacks, he had 3 sacks, 15+ pressures, and 12 hits in the Tennessee game alone).

Obvious to anybody with a brain that he wouldn't last; the opposing defenses have been getting 6-10 crushing hits on him every game (the kind where the hitter makes impact at full speed and then pile drives him into the turf). The stupidest part is people criticizing him for throwing off his back foot. Yea man, that's what happens when the OL turnstiles and lets a rusher through unimpeded. The qb has to back pedal to buy an extra half second so that he can get a throw off, and said throw is gonna be crappy and rushed and off his back foot.

Miss St sucks, but without Max our offense deteriorates from pretty bad to clown show. I'd say we have a slight chance at 6-6 now.

Marcel Reed (Mr. Football Tennesee) has some wheels and an arm. The problem is he's like 185lbs and a freshman.

Knowing Fisher, he will probably go with the least mobile guy with the lowest comp %.

If true, I am terribly sorry for both players who give their all playing like warriors.

I am confident that Max's parents will intervene, if necessary, to protect him from the rib injuries either being made more severe or inducing additional organ damage. His dad has been there and seen every aspect, both good and bad, of injury management. Together with the season being arguably in the dumpster, there is never an acceptable reason to seriously jeopardize a player's well being.

Prayers rising for both athletes.

The last games we should see some freshman and other players who dont get much playing time since this season is over already. No reason to risk further injuries to already banged up players

It never ceases to amaze me at the amount of dumbassery with this staff.

The OL situation not being addressed should be a fireable contract-breaking offense. No $75M for you.

We need something like a Johnson-Calzada award for QBs that exhibit outstanding toughness and competitiveness despite high-quantile chronic nonspecific trauma exposure (basically, playing behind a ****ty OL...).

I know our OL is one of the weaker position groups on the team in regards to comparative talent. But let's not pretend it wouldn't be a solid group for 95% of the NCAA.

It's inexcusable, coaching is literally the only reason left at this point. I gave Addazio a pass last year just like I gave Turner a pass for his first year back. It has not improved, he needs to be gone tomorrow.

I've been watching college football for a couple decades and I'd never once seen an OL sack its own qb until ours did it twice in one game. I don't know how talented our OL truly is or isn't, but I'm confident they aren't THAT untalented. That's coaching.

Max is a tough SOB and I appreciate him gutting it out behind an atrocious offensive line.

What blows my mind is that we haven't really been able to effectively run the football all year. Then Boom!, all of of sudden we start running in the second half? Just like last year in the LSU game, we finally start pushing people around.

Rumor is (and at this point it is unconfirmed) that Jimbo is going to start at QB a nose tackle who has his foot in a cast. He has never had a completed pass in any football game. The good news is that he has also never thrown an interception.

Hearing rumors that Jaylen Henderson (transfer from Fresno St.) will be the starting QB for A&M next weekend.
