We were lucky for him to even get it. Max essentially threw his 2nd touchdown drive interception and got lucky the Ole Miss defender bobbled the pick

But as the Aggies do, we can't take that gift and do something with it, we completely eff that up as well.

Typical Aggie football.

Simple errors lost this game. Wide open receiver, DBs not covering long. A repeated problem. Interception in the end zone. A key defender gets kicked out of the game. Had the lead with 4 minutes left. Had some of these errors not occurred we likely would have won.

Jimbo had nothing to with any of this except for one maybe coaching about a trick play. The players have to make plays.

The one single deficiency all season long is our secondary. That alone cost all the the games we lost. Fix that
50 % and we may have won every game to date.

It's all about execution. Jimbo is a master. His players just won't execute his brilliance.

Couldn't say it better myself. Couldn't possibly be poor execution of coaching

Maybe Jimbo should stop coaching them up so much and instead focus on strategy and game plan?

Other coaches develop players so they regularly make the plays. It's six years of Jimbo-coached teams. It's mostly on him and everyone in the country sees it as obvious.

Nice back door dig on Johnson. If it wasn't for his guts, we wouldn't have even been in the game at the end.

And guess what, the sidelines are there on every play, maybe it was just poor coaching by OM, I mean the DB should have made that catch so clearly its Kiffen's fault, right?

I watched the LSU/Bama game and both QBs had ample time. Johnson had half the time. Our O Line techniques do not keep the defender blocked long enough. They lunge, fall down, do not move laterally, etc. poor foot work.

100% I love all these armchair QBs that don't realize our QBs are pressured within 3 seconds most of the time and other team's QBs get at least twice the time. We had the same problem with Mond and QB pressures with the exception of his senior year. It is easy to take a bird's eye view

The way that our players perform during a game has nothing to do with Jimbo?

The cognitive dissonance of the sunshine pumping sheep on this board is mind blowing.

Wow! you and i have a completely different understanding of football and played in completely different kind of programs if you dont think those things had to do with our coaching.

just.....wow!

I love all these armchair coaches who don't watch a lick of film and can't see that our QB2 is so slow to get rid of the ball that he takes 3 times the hits he should. He has no idea presnap who his available targets should be and is late on every throw even when they are wide open and he has time.
Divining Rod
How long do you want to ignore this user?
yep- at this point, we should start working in our backup QBs so they can gain some meaningful experience.

And I dont want to hear abour weak OL putting them at risk. That's child talk. These are major college recruits and theure here to play football. But of course, that's just NOT the Fisher way.
