This is easy. You fire Jimbo as he walks off he plane. Bobby steps up. Do you really think Bobby was Jimbo's idea? We can't wait until the season is over if we want to keep the players we have and this class.

I want Jimbo gone but I do have a concern about who we would hire. Many on this board think we just grab Lanning or Elko. I don't think its going to be that easy.

Fisher is 6-12 in his last two years against P5 teams. The ship is sinking....

Urban. He will not be the 'nice guy' or the guy that 'gets A&M', but he keeps momentum rolling recruiting wise. 8 wins is the worst he has ever done in college ball. That would be Amazing Now! Don't go with a guy that needs to Build momentum, go with the instant winner.

3. Jimbo lost like 25 guys last offseason. More likely to keep guys by getting rid of Jimbo than by keeping him. Except we could win on the field too.

Yeah it would totally suck if we lost a lot of the coaching staff and some recruits. We might end up becoming mediocre. Best to stay on our current trajectory. Don't forget, the playoff expands to 12 next year, which is great because we've regularly finished top 12 in the Jimbo era.

No one hands out recruiting trophies. We're getting best by lots of teams without the same level of recruiting we supposedly have. We shouldn't care about recruiting if we can't develop players. Even if recruiting takes a hit, lower rated players with better development will produce better than great prospects who plateau at mediocrity because they have ****ty coaching.

I'd check the price of oil, and the real estate market, and the current interest rates before making any assumptions about what rich people will/won't do regarding Jimbo's buyout

We have lost 9 consecutive road games dating back to a 29-19 loss at Ole Miss on 11/13/2021. We have not won a road game since a 35-14 win over Missouri on 10/16/2021 and a road game against an SEC West team since a 31-20 win at Auburn. If we lose at LSU, we will carry a 10-game road losing streak into next year and go for 2 consecutive years without a road win. Even worse, Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Vanderbilt have won at least one road game more recently than we have.

1. Since our last road win, Arkansas has had 4 road wins: a 16-13 overtime win at LSU on 11/13/2021, a 52-35 win at BYU on 10/15/2022, a 41-27 win at Auburn on 10/29/2022, and a 39-36 overtime win at Florida today.

2. In that same span, Auburn has 2 road wins: a 14-10 win at Cal on 9/9/2023 and a 31-15 win at Vanderbilt today.

3. In that same span, Mississippi State has 3 road wins: a 43-34 win at Auburn on 11/13/2021, a 24-22 win at Ole Miss on 11/24/2022, and a 7-3 win at Arkansas on 10/21/2203.

4. In that same span, South Carolina has 3 road wins: a 24-14 win at Kentucky on 10/8/2022, a 38-27 win at Vanderbilt on 11/5/2022, and a 31-30 win at Clemson on 11/26/2022.
