WTF was KSU thinking when they went for two in the 4th quarter when an extra point kick would have put them up 28-27?

Did they bobble the PAT snap or something? I didn't see it live, just reading the game feed.

Unbelievably stupid call going for it on 4th. Just utterly stupid.

I don't know who's the dumbest of the three: the KSt HC, OC, or QB. They all bit the big one on that last series of downs inside the 10. Going for it on 4th in that situation was a fireable offense in my opinion.

WHY??? Get the FG and live to play another day. If you miss, you miss. But you didn't get it the first three chances. t.u. was blitzing the QB so a run was all but out of the question and there wasn't enough room for the receivers to run routes and the QB to move to get time. Not realizing where you are on the field and adjusting for it is STUPID.

I think t.u. is overrated but they do have a decent to good front seven. Especially in short yardage situations where they don't have to chase guys.

Even dumber was the playcalling. QB draw out of shotgun on 3 & 1 late in 4th Qtr, leading to missed FG. Then the last play, their primary receiver's route was short of the endzone anyway and wouldn't make it even with a catch. Not to mention the QB draw on 1st down which wasted the down.

And they earn the front page of ESPN for the next month. And they can start taking some of our 2024 recruits, and begin destroying us for 2025 recruits in-state as our hot-seat coach is the easiest person in the world to recruit against.

Snap was early and fumbled on the go ahead PAT. Kicker also missed a game tying, very short FG.

Both of those things probably were in his head when he chose to go for the win in OT.

This right there. They had all the momentum. tu is terrible in the red zone. Why on earth would you make it a one play game? Plus that's playing right into tu's strength.

kicker didn't miss the PAT, it was a bad snap and hold. Kicker never touched the ball.
