What I feared when we came into the SEC has happened

We are Arkansas.

When they left the SWC everybody, including them thought they were leaving for greener pastures. They got to the SEC and, aside from a few shining moments, have fallen flat on their face. They hardly ever compete for the division. Sometimes they are dangerous and sometimes pushovers. Mostly just somewhere in the middle.

We are the team that we have beaten 11 out of the last 12 games against?

At least they have been to Atlanta for the SEC championship game

Arky used to have a good coach. Our OC didn't get to pick the staff he has to work with.

You missed his point - like most BMAs

Just because we beat them doesn't necessarily mean we are any better off

We suck. Always have. Always will. Get used to it.

If you don't like the situation now, wait till the sips come into the league next season and win the SEC West right out of the chute.

I guarantee if we lose to them next year and they win the SEC, Jimbo is gone.

Yep, we should've stayed in the Big 12. At least there we were regularly winning. Remember that time we finished in a 3-way tie for the Big 12 south? That was a special season.

Not trying to pile on- but it will only get harder when Texas and OU show up. The 10 year head start has slowed to a crawl.

Arkansas can't recruit their way out of a paper bag and has had tons of losing seasons

Their ceiling is our floor, we just rarely ever get up off the floor

It's basically been the same. Actually, it's been a slight improvement against the SEC.

Big XII conference record: 68-61 (.527)

SEC conference record through today: 50-42 (.543)

So there's that..

Arkansas is understandably bad. They recruit exponentially worse.

Yeah, back in the good old days when we were consistently finishing behind tu, OU, and OSU plus losing meaningless bowl games every year.

We are A&M. A&M is producing same results regardless of conference affiliation.

What's the big deal? College football is transforming into NFL Lite. It's not too far from being a European style soccer league setup where the academics are truly decoupled from sports. The overlords who run fox and ESPN have seen how much more profitable they think they can greedily squeeze money from faithful fans, but pleas keep setting your money on fire by supporting this boondoggle.

It's been a work in progress for a minimum of three decades ...

This would be more money funny if they didn't have several more wins last year than the ags

We were mediocre in the big 12 too. So nothing's really changed.

Arkansas has never recruited at the level we are recruiting at to my knowledge. That matters. Knowing we can consistently recruit with anyone means we just need a coach that can maximize potential. Sh*t you don't even have to maximize it just call winning game plans

Wasn't there a stat shown during the game that we have the 4th best win percentage since joining the conference? The three teams ahead of us (Bama, uga, and lsu) have accounted for about half the national championships since we've joined the SEC.

So what you are saying is you'd willingly choose to boost for Arkansas because they're as good as we are. Go ahead.

I can 100% guarantee they will not win the SEC West in 2024. SEC is eliminating the divisions in 2024

What I feared when we joined the SEC was that the t-sips would somehow weasel their way in too.

What I feared joining the SEC is that we would do what we have always done and never win anything and I was correct.

That conference championship in 1998 was super fun. Been waiting since then to win anything. Still waiting……

Gotta give the sips credit. They at least fire their coaches when it's obvious they can't win.
