Would like to see some of our Coaches carrying tablets. As someone who performs AI work for a living, this technology has advanced significantly. Not advocating blindly following modeling results but it would be good information for our Coaches to consider when calling plays.

Maybe for the next generation like Coach Starkel but I don't see Jimbo or Saban using technology and would prefer they don't get distracted with gadgets.

I thought the only electronic communication devices allowed for coaches and players on CFB sidelines were headsets and wired phones that are only connected to the booth. Can anyone confirm?

Disagree, better to have analysts up in the booth crunching AI than to have our coaches on the sideline trying to do this during the game - seems very distracting.

What information? What would they get from a tablet they can't get from their call sheets?

How about we put a chip in everyones brain. Run a quick AI query on best play selection based on the situation, conditions, defensive formation, etc. And then execute said play automatically based using the chip/brain interface. Won't be perfect until we can replace the humans with robots, but baby steps...
