If he's been hiding it then why does he waste it on Arkansas after losing to Miami?

I think the game plan will look a lot like Auburn. Pressure with a QB spy. Pigs O line is not good. KJ is a lot better than Auburn QBs. Will be interesting.

Running QB, and a dang good TE not so much. But enough to discourage pig

Arkansas is one of our easier opponents to game plan for. They are always a tough out, but as far as strategy - it is pretty straight forward.

Containing Jefferson should be the priority. We contain him we win.

The game plan will likely be to keep KJ in the pocket. Ends contain and try to collapse the pocket around him. Hopefully we can get to him.

Blitzing with an all out sack mentality is a good way to get burned by Jefferson's feet imo. Contain him and limit his explosive runs is the better approach I believe .

There is a balance here...we have issues in the secondary (Miami exploited that) and need to bring timely and fairly frequent pressure. It would be nice to see Durkin do a better job of disguising the blitz.

Gotta be careful blitzing with Jefferson.

He's got great pocket awareness and can beat you with his feet.

Aub QBs made our blitz look better than it was…they had many open Wrs and safety valve options that they didn't execute.

KJ much more experienced w a better RB and Wrs that started to emerge vs LSU.

Betting most are disappointed in our Def game plan this wk as there will be less biltzing, 3 DL w 2-3 LBs (w one just a spy, one as a edge rusher), more zone than last wk (as not sold we can play man consistently).

If blitzes get to KJ early, they will be used more often. If KJ burns us on blitz reads w big plays, they will be called off and we'll try to keep everything in front of us.

Our Safety play will be important (they have not been impressive) and whomever covers their TE.

Pig Oline is a weak unit. I think the Dline can exploit that.

Let's hope the team does, at least, bring the right cleats today.

Guessing _urkin goes with 3 bull rushing defensive linemen 90% of the time with a LB spy. That will leave 6-7 dbs on most downs depending on if the extra defender is a LB or safety. In the end, the four guys in the box will not effectively stop KJ from running, and he will pick our secondary apart. The announcers will be amazed at the heisman-like performance.

I personally feel like KJ is hit or miss. I've seen some games where he looked really good, and I've seen some games he couldn't hit a moving garbage truck. I'm hoping we see the bad KJ today.

I think he'll want to blitz, but Demani Richardson will get burned early and Durkin will crawl in his turtle shell.

My biggest fear, other than _urkn sitting back with a passive, no pressure, defense, is that our Dline will whip Arky's Oline forcing them to tackle our guys but the refs don't throw any flags.
