Ok Ags--not a rookie at buying tickets, but do need some help. We attend several games a year and have always used Vivid Seats. Went to buy some tickets for Bama and when I checked out they wanted $70 per ticket service fee--way more than usual. I would assume its because it is Bama, but who can tell me the best place to buy them without the monster service fee attached?

Seat Geek is the official market place for season ticket holders. You may want to check there

They all have what I think are pretty ridiculous fees but try in this order:

TexAgs Ticket Exchange board. (Ticket price usually higher but no fees - typically Venmo and 12th Man transfer.)

SeatGeek ("official secondary marketplace" this year) - can't see the fees until the final checkout page and they are 40% give or take at least for cheaper tickets.

StubHub - good deals to be found and you can turn on the filter to show the price you are paying with fees so you know exactly what you'll be paying.

How many and what section you looking at?

If nothing else, show up on campus on game day- there is always someone there looking to sell tickets.
