My wife and I are going to the A&m vs Arkansas game for the first time this year and I was unsure how parking worked at and around Jerry World. Do you guys have any recommendations on if the lots around the stadium are the best go or if there is a shuttle service that provides cheaper transportation from further out?

go to some of the used car lots a mile or two down the road from the stadium. they provide shuttles for $30 a carload. pick up and deliver across the street from stadium 3 hrs before game 1 hr after.. they have security on their lots
zero stadium traffic when you leave.

Well we have always purchased the over priced parking near the stadium, I always like taking the worry and uncertainty of parking out of the equation and enjoy the game. One year we did a very large tailgate which meant double the price for spots since I set up at opening and they followed with another vehicle. I also enjoy the fact that after the game I don't have to worry about finding my truck, getting a shuttle or if my vehicle was not watched several miles from the stadium... just do it and enjoy the game and be very wairy of the root hawg fans they're just as bad as the corn dog crew with the drinking/abuse.

You can buy parking the day of the game around the stadium. Expect prices to be $30 to $100.

Im not sure if they will be doing this for the 11am kick, but there are a couple places that do shuttles for $10 per person with free parking. Grease Monkey and J gilligans. Kinda helps beat the traffic after the game as well. Might be worth calling them to check if they will be running the shuttles

The shuttles are somewhat dependent at game end on how the crowds trickle out on getting picked back up. So if you can pick a parking lot that you can walk back to you'll be happier. I used to park at the closed used car lots and the walk wasn't bad when I was in my 20s for Ranger games at the otrigjnsl Arlington Stadium, but I'm of a certain age now that whole that nice of a walk should be wonderfully invigorating now, I tend to avoid them on game days. That part of Arlington varies on its seediness now, too…

The primary lots will be a little slow to drain, too, and sometimes they block streets to manage flow. That was why I parked in the local boondocks.

I've used J Gilligan's shuttle. Works great.

Is parking free at J. Gillian's? What is the shuttle cost to AT&T Stadium??

Thanks in advance….

You can park at Texas Live for free. We've done it the last 2 years with no problems. There will be signs that say no gameday parking but they have no way of knowing who's parking and walking to the game.

I recommend the J. Gilligan's shuttle. It will be running tomorrow and you pay $10 per adult and $5 for kids age 3-12 for a roundtrip bus ride. There is plenty of places to park around there and it's away from all of the stadium traffic when leaving. Think the shuttle takes about 5 minutes to get to the stadium

Edit: And parking there is free. The actually have guys in jackets that help you find parking places as well around that area. I've always parked right in front of the post office and walked a block to J. Gilligans and never had any issues.

Do you have to call and schedule or can you just arrive early and pay?

It'll be my first time seeing the Aggies fry the Pigges, as well!

Park free in nearby downtown area. Easy walk to J Gilligan's. Shuttle is normally $10/person but JG is Aggie Central so believe they are discounting to $8. No reservations needed. They've been running it for years. The first time I used it was for 2013 Cotton Bowl. It's a well oiled operation.

I have a Lot 12 parking pass for sale for $70. This lot is pretty close to the stadium and also has a fair amount of grassy areas that can be used for tailgating.

No need to call ahead. You get tickets from a ticket booth in front of the restaurant. It's really easy and like the poster stated, it's always been a well oiled machine when I use it.
