Richardson should not be starting on this team. He is the weak link of the DB's.

He has played great in that position in the past but I think he bulked up during the off-season, may have made him a little slower. Always been a big fan of his though.

He was just a better fit in Elko's defense.

He's too big and slow. He was against New Mexico and will be against every sec team we play. If we want to win he needs to find another position.

He's been a cornerstone of our defense, and I can only remember a few times I remember him getting beat clean. But yesterday he was burnt toast out there. Meanwhile their safety was a monster and practically won the game for them.

I'm not sure you guys know what it means to be an athlete. I worked out with a D3 baseball player and he was 10x the athlete i was. Genetics.

I think he is a great athlete just a few steps to slow for safety. It makes him great in run support but a liability in coverage.

Dude, They don't mean slow compared to themselves…they mean slow compared to the other elite athletes that he's stacking up against!

Ya, I think if they added him to the LB depth that would probably be the best for him and the team. He's an attack the LOS safety and not quick enough. Also, we clearly need the depth.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear Durkin is intelligent enough to recognize this, so he'll just continue to get exposed and ruin his draft stock.

Wouldn't he need to be able to tackle if we moved him to LB, there is no one currently on the defense, and particularly the secondary who is capable of tackling, he would be just as much a liability if he changed positions. Even DeBerry, who was the tackling DB in the NM game just bounced off real players in the Miami game.

Nobody here thinks he is slow compared to the average human being. Are you so dumb that we really need to make sure and say "for a D1 safety" every time we say he's slow just so you know what we mean?
