Agree! I thought the same thing. The equipment manager should used longer cleats. Lost of slips.

I agree that the slipping was constant but they play on the same grass we do. It's not exactly rocket science. Did they not know Hard Rock was grass? Or did our guys just slip?

Crazy how slipping only affected us. Was Miami playing on a different field?

Shades of tu 1998 and the mystery wet field. We didn't bring all of the cleats.

Don't you know when you got the wrong shoes it ties your arms to your hips! Can't wrap up if you aren't wearing no slip shoes!

Lots of issues with how we played today, but I think it's fair to say we did our players a disservice by not having the proper cleats. The field was wet for both teams, but only our guys seemed to be slipping and it drastically affected at least 4 plays that I saw. The athletic department needs to look into how these decisions are made and enact some policy changes. There's no excuse for a big time program making a mistake like this.
