Great decision to do marches around campus so that fans tailgating or that don't want to enter the stadium 90 minutes before kickoff can see them.
That and allowing wimmin' into the corps.Picadillo said:
Sad day. One more slap in the face of what made us unique.

Seems like the conference should grandfather clause this, given the march-in has always been a big part of A&M gamedays. They grandfathered State's cowbells after banning artificial noise makers.

Did you go into KF 2 hours before the game to partake of the tradition and then sit for 1.5 hours waiting for kickoff?
We had to let t.u. inAngry Beaver said:
Apologies for forgetting, but did the Ags simply have to give everything up because they were JOINING the SEC? Unlike Mississippi State, for example, who was already in when the artificial noisemaker rules were implemented. They were grandfathered in.
- We had to move our 12th Man from behind the opposing team's bench because of the SEC rules not allowing students behind the opposing team's bench.
- We had to move March-In to earlier in the day because of the SEC rules not allowing fans to return to the stadium once they leave.
- We had to stop letting fans on the field after the game because of the SEC rules not allowing fans on the field at any time.
What else am I missing?
Is it really a sad day if nobody is in the actual stadium to witness what was so "unique"?Picadillo said:

On the contrary. Now more opposing fans that come for the game will see up close and personal what makes us unique.Picadillo said:

So…you weren't there but you're virtue signaling towards those you think should have been there?AustinCountyAg said:Is it really a sad day if nobody is in the actual stadium to witness what was so "unique"?Picadillo said:

You can do that, then, for the South Carolina game Oct 28.Quote:
I would usually partake in at least one game a year watching the Corp marching into the stadium.

I think we should tell the SEC to pound sand. They aren't going to affect our traditions and can go to hell if they think they can. What are they going to do if the Corps continues to march in? Really, what are they going to do?
Those *******s let t.u. into the Conference using back room tactics. Totally stabbed us in the back.
**** them. Keep the Corps marching!
