i like ags for the over and can't understand how florida has the second lowest win total prediction. seems like a misprint even though i know it's not.

That 6.5 is for Miss St. Ole Miss is at 7.5 with us and Arkansas

I like the over for us and, believe it or not, the under for bama

I don't see them winning more than 10

Bama and Ole Miss under, Florida and the Ags over.

I think most people on this site were expecting 7.5. I think we win 8 maybe 9 with a little luck.

Ah yes, a sign that summer is nearly here. The sun is shining, the grass is growing, and the Texags over/under odds thread unanimously determines that our projected win total is too low.

Historically, this is the ONLY realistic expectation.

Will be nice if we had a higher expectation than 7.5 wins. New year, same prediction

I agree with NYAggie - Bama really looks like a solid for the under.

Does anyone think Georgia is going to keep pumping out W's at that rate? Their tally seems high to me.

7.5 is realistic. IMO the season kind of hinges on the result of the Miami game but I like the over and say we win 8 even if that's not all that exciting and not what we're paying Jimbo for it's at least better than last year and there's an outside chance at 9 if we get lucky and steal one somewhere

-UNM -W

-@Miami - ???

-ULM -W

-Auburn -W

-Arky -W

-Bama -L

-@UT -L

-USC - W

-@Ole Miss -L (we always lose to a MS school)

-MSU -W

-ACU -W

-@LSU -L

Tennessee seems very high. Didn't they basically lose most of their starters?

i can't imagine rooting for a school that on the way out still will go 10-2. must be cool to view that as a bad season. i would be a ecstatic if we went 10-2.

7.5 is pretty fair.

As for me, I've put the farm on the over. I expect us to get right back to the basics this season. 8-4, here we come.

7.5 is very reasonable over/under for us. This year, I am expecting a floor of 6-6 and a ceiling of 10-2 with 8-4 being our most likely regular season finish. Assuming we go 6-1 at home with only a loss to Alabama, the road/neutral site games will shape our season: @ Miami, vs Arkansas at Jerry World, @ Tennessee, @ Ole Miss, and @ LSU. I think we will beat Miami and Arkansas and lose to Tennessee, Ole Miss, and LSU.

We have struggled in road games. Since a 35-14 rout at Missouri on 10/16/21, we have lost 6 consecutive true road games. Hopefully, we can snap that losing streak at Miami in Week 2. Also, we have not a road game against an SEC West team since a 31-20 win at Auburn on 12/5/20. I think Ole Miss will be the most winnable of our 3 true SEC road games. Tennessee will likely be our toughest game because we will be coming off a tough home game against Alabama on 10/7, and Tennessee will be coming off a bye week.

That is exactly my prediction. I am predicting 8-4 with losses to Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and LSU. Hopefully, we can win all 8 games we will likely be favorites in and upset one of those 4 aforementioned teams.

We beat Miami and we're winning ten. Splitting Bama/UT/Ole Miss/LSU.

(okay, maybe 9 with 3 losses there)

If we manage to win all 8 games we will be favored to win and upset one of those 4 teams, I will be happy. I think our best chance at winning one of those 4 games is a home game against Alabama because the other 3 games are on the road. We have not won a true road game since a 35-14 rout at Missouri on 10/16/21. Even if we manage to beat Alabama, we will have to play a well-rested Tennessee team coming off a bye week in Knoxville just a week later.

Yes.
Georgia has won 33 of their last 34 games, including their 17 games. Their only loss in that span was 41-24 loss to Alabama in the 2021 SEC Championship Game, and their last regular season loss was a 44-28 loss to eventual 2020 SEC East champion Florida on 11/7/20. Yes, 11.5 seems like a high win total, but there are a number of factors that support that lofty win total.

1. While the defending national champions do have to replace a number of key players off of last year's team, they also return 14 players that started the national championship game against TCU in January and will supplement that core with a talented collection of other former four and five-star prospects who have been waiting for their time to step into the spotlight.

2. While Georgia's tremendous overall talent level is certainly a leading factor behind the considerable expectations oddsmakers have for the Bulldogs this season, its unusually favorable 2023 schedule has only served to reinforce and elevate those expectations. With the road trip to Oklahoma wiped off the schedule, Georgia was left with three lackluster early season non-conference matchups against UT-Martin, Ball State, and UAB to go along with the annual in-state rivalry game with Georgia Tech to close out the regular season.

3. The Bulldogs are not scheduled to play a game outside of the friendly confines of Sanford Stadium until week five when they travel to Auburn to play a team that is not only coming off of back-to-back losing seasons, but they will also be breaking in a new head coach in Huge Freeze.

4. The top teams in the SEC West are also conspicuously absent from Georgia's schedule as the Bulldogs avoid Alabama and LSU - the two heavy favorites to win the SEC West in 2023 - in the regular season. Their rotating cross-division opponent is Ole Miss.

I think Georgia will finish 12-0 or the 3rd consecutive season, but I won't be surprised if they lose at Tennessee on 11/18.

Georgia will be the first and only team to three-peat for the National Championship.

Since we are a perennial 8-4 program per TA griefers, 8 wins is more than 7.5 so I will take the over.
