We definitely have more injuries at key positions/to key players than other teams. There's no reason to expect we will ever be healthy with whatever training program we are doing.

Teams lose guys all the time. We cry about it cause we follow our team closer than we follow others.

I'm not sure what is so outlandish about his statements. We were in the top three teams in the nation for both most injury prone team and most games missed due to injury in all of FBS in 2021, and seemed to have even more injuries last year than the year before. At least three out of the four previous years, we have not started the expected Center due to injury (admittedly, last year's mono is a fluke "injury"). We have half of our starting OL out of spring practices to recover from surgeries. Last year, a large part of the decline in our offensive productionn was the inability to convert third downs as well as we had the previous year, and it was widely speculated that Wydermeyer's sudden dip in catch percentage was due to a minor hand injury. Two years in a row we have had to start our third string QB for multiple SEC games due to major injuries to the two ahead of him. I'm not sure how much further I have to go on to "back up" the fact that we have had terrible injury impacts to this team recently.

"Training program" may be too generic of a term for whatever is causing the issues, but it is clear that something beyond poor luck is contributing to injuries for this team. If you roll snake eyes once, it doesn't necessarily mean anything, but if you roll them multiple times in a row, it is not crazy to check whether your dice are weighted. It may be as simple as the fact that we run more "good-on-good" in practice, or something that the S&C program is doing, or the nutrition program, or a rash of poor decisions from the players or any number of other factors, but there is absolutely an underlying factor somewhere, and I would hope that the coaching staff is looking into it.

Yep. If he's in a boot and on crutches, both, I would guess a high. I wonder about the severity of the sprain, but he should be fine. It's March.

If there's one guy that's going to miss spring practice that I won't worry about, it's Stewart.

That guy shows up every game.

I watch all of the games where our key players are out and our backups have to play against the other team's key players who are miraculously not injured.

So you view every team and do the same analysis? Your response doesn't back up anything you said. Just pulling stupid sheet out of your azz..

Username definitely checks out.

If this injury happened in August I would be upset but Stewart has plenty of time to get healthy.

He should be a monster this year with more experience and a solid QB.

Like the Bama game where we played Jalen Milroe and they had no Jojo Earle?

I know their starter was a nobody named....checks notes....Bryce Young....but still, he was a starter.
