A common denominator in the group suspended for the locker room smoking incident seems to be that it was someone else's fault. This reads like someone wronged him at A&M.

I was racking my brain trying to figure out what curse word was so many letters so I could add it to my vocabulary for future use lol

He also obviously learned a lesson about things and took responsibility for it.

FWIW, someone posted here on a thread that the university wasn't allowing some of that group back into school. Don't remember which guys for certain and I don't know if it was due to that incident, due to academics or both.

Except he was 100% wanted. It was a bit of a shock when he left and sounded like it was a family decision since they thought he had too much damage to his image.

he didn't take responsibility for anything...he blamed it on the coaches and said we didn't want him, which isn't even true. anyways, moving along. he will 1000% look back on all of this and be like "wow, I was an idiot" as we all do when our brains fully develop.

This. I believe Denver was not welcome back at all. Chris was going to need a major adjustment if he wanted to return. The OL got arrested again, and he was one we were really willing to work with and wanted back.

yep....he was not unwanted. that's part of my "outrage" as others have categorized it....he was 100% wanted back and then turned it on us per his comments. we extended a 2nd chance by all accounts and he turned his nose up at it. I'm guessing his 2nd chance required super strict and over the top requirements like don't be a dip**** anymore and things like that. such a joke.

I'm not too bent out of shape about it. He may have viewed "we want you back but we need to see adjustments with your commitment, attitude, etc" as not being wanted.

It's a lot better on your feelz when you can enter the portal and have teams fawn over you than go back to a school where you know you're going to have to do some digging out to get back in great standing. And given our depth at DL, that also could have played into it
