CRAZY prediction: Texans' OC, Pep Hamilton (I know, yuck!), will be the new OC and we'll get his son, a stud '25 QB, as a commit.

Bull$$&! We've been getting players. Recruiting hasn't been the problem at least in terms of how they are rated. We can't develop them worth a damn or cant coach them. A proven innovative OC would have made a huge difference
If you need evidence of what good offensive coaching can do take a look at TCU and Tennessee. According to recruiting we have more "talent" than they do. So either our players are overrated of our coaches can't do anything with it.

Not true. If Jimbo really is going to let the OC call the plays and IF we are going to "update" our offense, then the OC needs to be here ASAP to get the transition going in a smooth and timely manner.

If you had the ability to see tamu football in 2021-22 you have the appropriate data. Hell Stevie Wonder can see it. But it's not a lost cause. We have the opportunity to change the program with the right OC hire. It's been proven over and over that in CFB you will never overcome mediocre coaching regardless of the recruiting ranking of the players you bring in (good example TU and TAMU) Conversely you see examples every year of programs that outperform their talent level with great coaching (ex Utah, KSU, TCU,this year)
