I would love to see him come back.

With his injury I do not think he will be ready to run the short shuttle and 40 at the Combine (if he is invited) or at A&M's pro day. If he comes back, shows he has fully recovered from the injury and puts up good test numbers he will significantly improve his draft status.

I would love to see him come back. Great player!

I actually thought for sure he was gone but here is hoping that he comes back.

I suppose you could always say there is no guarantee, but if Smith were to have a full season with good numbers, he would absolutely improve from a 5th round projection (assuming the above is true that he is projected there right now).

He missed what, 8 games last season with a knee injury? 5th round is low, as good a chance he ends up UFA as anything because of the lack of production due to his injury last year and questions that would certainly be there concerning how well he recovered. A good season would put that to bed and definitely push him up a round or two, and that is a huge deal when money and investment from the teams are concerned.

My point is if it's measurable keeping him that low nothing he will do this year short of the Heisman will help much.

I can't understand it myself but I have been told by football coaches that if a player isn't playing, there is a reason for it. Coaches want to win and they will play the players that give them the best chance to do so I wonder sometimes but this is what I have been told by Aggie high school football coaches every time I complain about Fisher playing or not playing someone.

Moose had several good games this season and some ridiculous catches.

But better? Only if Anias isn't at least 75%.

My source says he is pretty sure he is coming back but is not positive about it but he is feeling confident that his sketchy information might or might not be good so there is a better than average chance (possibly 50/50) that he will be back next year. Book it!
