I have Bally Sports SW on my cable lineup but the signal is jacked up. So I went to their website. It asked for my cable provider. When I put that in, I got access for free.

You can get Bally Sports through DirecTV, DirecTV Stream, and cable. That's it.

Bally Sports is badly overpriced because they've spent years over-paying for local MLB/NBA/NHL rights. They lost carriage on Dish in 2019 and have never been on most streaming packages.

Bally is a joint venture headed by Sinclair. That tells you everything you need to know…

To their credit: they offer over-the-top subs that you can unbundle from other media providers. I'm guessing MLB prevents showing Rangers broadcasts and the $199 annual feels a little stiff. But if you only need 7-day free trial…

Started the 7 day free trial on Wednesday. I'll cancel it Monday. I don't quite get their business model thinking $20/month is reasonable for their few sports networks.

So for 9 of the 14 markets in which Bally has a local MLB contract, this package doesn't include that content (i.e. I'd spend $19.99 per month in Missouri and not get the Cardinals games). Those of you in Texas wouldn't get the Rangers.

HSE was an awesome channel. Over the last 39 years, it's morphed into overpriced garbage.

Directv Bally channels. Sometimes 692. Sometimes 676. Right now 676-1. Don't know about tomorrow.

Can't get it with Frontier in the DFW area.

Go to the website or app and use your TV provider login to watch. I have the Ballys Sports app on Roku and use my provider login.

Bally is terrible. Almost one carries it, the app is overpriced, and even if you pay for the app you can't see the Rangers. I have Hulu and haven't missed it except this week. The Rangers haven't been worth watching regularly anyway.

Bally is terrible. I only use for the high school football playoffs. I get it through a cheap 19 dollar roku device.

Not much to watch if you're wanting to see College Station. My username confirms I'm biased.

Just do the 7 day free trial of bally sports + and stream it then delete and cancel your subscription. Easy as can be.

Have Bally SW on cable back home. On Optimum internet in BCS at a friend's house. Added app to Apple TV then logged in at ballysports.com/activate using OPT login. Screen says success. Click on Texas HS game link. Error message not available through provider. Is this where I have to login with a Bally+ account only and the cable account doesn't matter? ??? It shouldn't be this hard to watch Texas high school football.

You and everyone else with an IQ over about 45. And they have the audacity to say that the streaming providers are the ones being greedy.

IN GENERAL, those making wild accusations (out of nowhere, anyway) are doing exactly what they're accusing others of doing. Sorry, while I'm not a big fan of ANY of the cable, fiber, or streaming providers, I'm not buying Bally's BS here.
