Not exactly a Leach-ism but this thing never fails to make me die laughing at a couple parts of this locker room speech.
It goes a long way to show why his teams outperformed their talent levels. He expected a lot from his guys. This was after a win, mind you.

I remember the first time I heard of Leach. I was at the '99 OU game in Norman when we got toasted by Stoops/Leach fifty something to 7. OU pulled out the ninja formation multiple times that game, and we were completely confused about what to do.

Kirk was the dept chair and on my PhD committee at State. He was a wonderful mentor and friend and a really smart and accomplished guy, so this makes me chuckle.

Texas Tech didn't deserve him. They didn't like him and fired him for stupid crap because they thought they could do better. Lol - clearly they couldn't - and then they refused to pay him what they owed him.

They shouldn't have done that scoreboard tribute after the way they treated him. I think a lot of the fans and alumni loved him though

Never liked the guy bc he was so anti A&M and I didn't appreciate the crap he talked about Jimbo but he was a competitor and a good coach. His offenses are legendary. I just wish he got to make peace with Jimbo before he died otherwise there will always be bad blood. Maybe Jimbo cursed him.
