USCw lost its chance at the Playoffs because they had to play a team they lost to earlier in the season in the PXII Championship Game.
So, requiring tOSU to go through Michigan would be fair. But, it won't happen.
TCU will get in. Imagine the controversy of having:
Georgia vs tOSU
Michigan vs Alabama/Tennessee
Tennessee beat Alabama in head-to-head and lost to #1 Georgia, so there is a case to put Tennessee in over Alabama.
Now, remember
SEC adds: OU+Sips <- Best/RIchest two teams from the BXII
B1G adds: USC+UCLA <- Best/Richest two teams from the Pac12.

I agree with you. (Still shocking TCU can lose and not even drop 1 spot).Madmarttigan said:Lake08 said:

This is the correct answer because no one likes a OSU/Michigan rematch in the first round. It is also the correct 4 teams that should be in the playoff. This isn't that debatable this year really.
and, their loss was arguably not as bad as tOSU's loss. That was to a much much better team, but they also looked much much worse.Iraq2xVeteran said:
I agree with that seeding prediction becasue TCU has 12 wins compare to Ohio State's 11 wins.
What about the fact that Ohio State got blasted at home while TCU barely lost at a neutral field.HeyAbbott said:
Ohio State loss was to the # 2 seed team while TCU had the worst loss to a 3 loss K-State team.
Who cares who Vegas would favor...Onionman said:I agree with you. (Still shocking TCU can lose and not even drop 1 spot).Madmarttigan said:Lake08 said:

But IMO no way is TCU 1 of the 4 best teams. Vegas would definitely have Bama favored in that one.
I am not arguing who should be in but my whole point is that the committee says they want the 4 best teams.cupofjoe04 said:Who cares who Vegas would favor...Onionman said:I agree with you. (Still shocking TCU can lose and not even drop 1 spot).Madmarttigan said:Lake08 said:

Bama lost twice in conference play, and did not make it to their championship game.
TCU was undefeated and lost in OT in their championship game.
That has to mean something.

In 2020 the argument was that A&m got beat badly by Bama so shouldn't be in the playoffs. Even though A&M lost on the road early in the season.
Ohio State gets blasted at home by Mich and still makes the playoffs.
They are the luckiest team ever.
If indeed this is what transpires, it will make a mockery of the process!Onionman said:
Kind of weird to see a team lose (TCU) so late in season and stay ranked right where they were. But that is what is going to happen.
2 teams make the playoffs that lost their last game. Kind of weird.

This is why a 12 team playoff is dumb. There are two championship caliber teams. Michigan and Georgia. All else need not apply.

All three of the other teams are praying it's TCU & not Alabama. Probably means they don't belong
