SC beats UT by 25 despite 25/42 for 247 and 3 TDs no INTs from Hooker.

Arky whips Ole Miss despite TWO Ole Miss RBs having 200+ yards on the ground (463 total rushing, 703 yards total, while Arky had another 200+ yd rusher and 503 total yards).

Vandy beats the Gators, despite 445 yards of FL offense vs..283 yards for Vandy.

(The Ole Miss-Arky running stats remind me of the box scores we used to see from the dominant teams of the 1970s. I love that kind of football!)

Heard a rumor hooker tore his acl. Hope for his sake it's something much more minor.

Arky/ole Mrs game wasn't even as close as the score indicated 42-6 in the 4th quarter. I think Kiffin knows he's gone and has already shifted his focus.

OU and Nebraska back then tried to outdo each other in the running game. 65-0 scores were not uncommon. Loved it.

the SEC has cannibalized itself pretty bad this year.

likely only 1 team in the CFP

and maybe only 2 in the NY6

also have to say...it could be a tidal wave of opt outs for the SEC in bowl season.

with so many NFL prospects...and only 1 team playing for the title

I had forgotten that Arkansas was up 42-6 in the fourth period. How can a team (Ole Miss) roll up 703 yards of offense and still be down by 36 points at the start of the fourth quarter? That's almost incomprehensible.

Would have never thought I would see the day Vanderbilt beats Florida. SEC is having a weird year but it's nice to see some parity for once and not Alabama and nobody else. Just wish we were in the mix though.

This! I know pass plays are more prevalent in todays game, but there's an old school beauty in a bruising run game. Totally agree, amigo!

You forgot the A&M upset of UMass.

I was trying to see what ole miss did in that game, but in the process saw that Liberty upset Arkansas a couple weeks ago. How did everyone miss that one?

The Arkansas game is indicative of why Durkin isn't as bad as he seems. Ole Miss gouged the UA defense for big runs against a 3-man front all night long. But they couldn't get in the end zone. UA, on the other hand, did and what they did that we didn't do is remained aggressive offensively until they had a huge lead. Durkin infuriates me as much as the next guy but he's really defending like many other teams that are having success.

It's clear to anyone knowledgeable that 90% of A&Ms woes are on the offensive side. In the ole miss game, if the offense does anything between quarters 1 and 4 we win. The defense did good playing bend but don't break. The only reason why we were in the Bama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn, and South Carolina games was because of the defense. There were no games that we were in because of the offense

The defense is going to have bad games, but the offense has to be able to score more than 21 points.
