Go to 3:20 in the postgame presser. He's asked if he is considering bringing someone else in to run the offense, and he straight up says it wouldn't have made a difference. That doesn't sound like a guy who's going out to hire an OC with a blank check.

Perhaps he is referring to how injuries, youth, and discipline have affected the team, especially the last two weeks.

Need a new oline coach as well.

No, he specifically mentioned and defended his scheme and playcalling. Him trying to blame all of the woes on injuries, youth, and discipline would be the same as saying his scheme and playcalling had no effect on the outcomes of the games.

I think he will write a blank check to an up and coming OC named Fimbo Jisher.

The ol blank check process has worked well for A&M. How about they actually evaluate for the right hire instead of just throwing money at folks? I'm tired of hearing how money won't be an issue when searching for coaches.

If so I'd actually prefer for him not to have a day in this, as he'd just pick a like coach

In reality...we only scored 7 on App State. I throw that Achane kickoff return out.

Because of who jimbo is and how he coaches/manages, it wont make a difference even if we hired the best OC the football world has ever seen.

Ultimately the CEO is responsible for all good, bad and indifferent. The entire staff needs to be ousted and that includes anyone who influenced blank check writing.

I mean, who outside of the 5th grade playground hasn't called "everyone go deep" every 3rd play?

I think this program is 4-losses-in-a-row past asking Jimbo to do anything. They will be giving him instructions on what needs to be done or they will ruin his legacy.

The buyout is more of an embarrassment than a real obstacle when push comes to shove.

Jimbo truly believes his playcalling is not the problem but its the players. Nothing can convince him otherwise

Even if he does hire an OC, jimbo will still have heavy influence on the scheme, so dont expect anything to change

Jimbo is not going to sit up there in a press conference with 2 games left in the season and tell a bunch of reporters "we need a new offensive coordinator" or "we need to bring in someone for the offense".
