Probably not. He's in the right league, where he should be.

The A&M Powers That Be wouldn't put up with any of Deion's antics for more than 5 minutes.

Because they don't care about winning.

Hiring Deion is a must! Especially when Auburn hires Bo Jackson. We need to match their former two sport athlete hire! Only way to keep Weigman! Rabble, rabble! Aaaarrrgh!

Goodness some of you are so dumb.
Let's go, Brandon!

Oh look. Another thread suggesting a coach we should hire based on nothing. Haven't seen this before.

Deion's happy where he's at, he doesn't need the money.

Deion's approach is surprisingly similar to Kevin Sumlin's. We had all that - at a discount - and it didn't work.

He's stated explicitly that he is open to Power 5 offers.

Coach Prime is a very different energy in how it comes to motivating players. Fisher during games is Mr. Hyde, in the locker room he is Dr. Jekyll. He will get you to see how the hard work is there before and after the game and get you to see how close it all really was, but on the side line he is a grade A a-hole.

Coach Prime motivates the same way on the sidelines as he does in the locker room. Coach Prime treats everything like its war and he is going down into that trench to fight and possibly die with you. It might actually work very well with our talent and even at the power 5 level, but we still end up with the same problem we have currently with Jimbo which is the rest of the coaching hires. I don't trust Coach Prime yet to play call at the power 5 level. Watch some Jackson State games and the men are talented, being coached correctly, and they do some amazing things on the field, but the playbook isn't anything to write home about, just like Fisher. The only diff is Coach Prime will have coaches and play calling ready for the Power 5 level in the next few years and will move on to another school willing to take a chance. Coach Prime with a good Off & Def coordinators and young and inspired position coaches will do great anywhere, but Coach Prime with our current auxiliary staff would be in the same pot.
Aggie Football is only played for 2 quarters, choose wisely.

Yes, because a good ol' boy like Jimbo has certainly worked out.

Jimbo's "good ol' boy" mentality doesn't seem to be an issue--it's his outdated offensive scheme, failure to allow an OC to call plays, etc., that are the problems that he needs to correct. Jimbo fits in with our culture just fine.

No one over the age of 30 would ever refer to the head coach of the Texas A&M Aggies as Coach Prime. That's like my dentist trying to get me to call him Dr. Kevin. No. Just…no.

No. He's focused on building something great over there and his son is playing for him. On top of that why would he come here? When was the last time we had a coach retire instead of being fired?

I say that sincerely hoping Jimbo retires here. He's got a lot going for him outside of the results of this season and I have faith he can turn it around.

2020 4-3
2021 11-2
2022 9-0 and counting

The previous 3 coaches, from 2014-2019 went:

6-11
9-20
6-9

Nice turnaround in a short period of time.

Just sayin'

No and the program is absolutely not unresurrectable, respectively.

Players don't want to hear a motivational speech every day. You can talk them into playing good.
