2018: 1 home loss - Clemson
2019: 2 home losses - Auburn, Alabama
2020: 0 home losses
2021: 1 home loss - MSU
2022: 3 home losses and counting - App State, Ole Miss, Florida

We need to to defend Kyle. Teams should be intimidated to play us at home.

Yeah, but we've never "really" defended Kyle Field.

2012 Florida
2013 Alabama
2012 LSU
2014 LSU
Ole Miss, Auburn, State…..no one is intimidated by our DJ.

this is another area where the Jimbo era mirrors the Slocum era

(minus the championships of course)

R.C. started losing home games in his final 3 seasons.

including 4 home losses in his final year

as a student, man the DJ has got to go. instead of normal seven nation army to get the crowd chanting we get garbage remix version. it's not hard to do in game production and get people riled up i did it through high school. a&m needs to do better

What's scary is that Florida brought a solid number of fans to Kyle and they were far louder than we were.

Were you even there ????? Only time I heard their fans was the last 1/3 of the 4th quarter when the game was no longer in doubt.

I know it's different on TV, but inside the real world of Kyle the 12th Man was pretty loud until the end.

This is totally false. I was there. Miami brought more fans and miami doesn't even really have fans with enough money to travel. Uf fans were not loud.

I did see quite a few Florida fans, but they were not load at all. App State fans made way more noise.

We (Ags) were much louder last week against Ole Miss, but I think that is primarily due to the 11 am start vs Ole Miss being a night game.

Fake news, I was there. 12th man was much louder and more involved.

We imploded Kyle Field. The stadium that is there now bears no resemblance.

Kevin Sumlin regularly lost home SEC games at Kyle Field and went 8-14 in those games. Even worse, he went 3-12 against SEC West teams at Kyle Field, including a 7-game losing streak at the end of his tenure. Before this year, Jimbo Fisher was 12-3 in home SEC games, including 7-3 against SEC West teams, but he is just 2-3 (0-2 SEC) at home this year. I had expected us to go 6-1 or 7-0 at home. Assuming a win over UMass and a loss to LSU, we finish 3-4 and 2-4 (0-3 SEC) against FBS teams at Kyle Field this year.

Before yesterday's game, the last loss I saw in person was a 47-28 loss to Alabama on 10/12/19. We had won 8 straight games that I went to (3 in 2019, 2 in 2020, 1 in 2021, and 2 in 2022). I had expected us to beat Flordia. After we led Florida 24-20 at halftime, Florida outscored us 21-0 in the 2nd half.

2019: Mississippi State, UTSA, and South Carolina
2020: Arkansas and LSU
2021: Auburn
2022: Sam Houston State and Miami

I figured out why losses at home sting more than they did in the past.
(and yes, I do realize that the SEC > SWC)

During the time I was at A&M, the Ags were 32-4-1 at Kyle.
(and half of those losses occurred my freshman year)

1984: 5-2 at Kyle - Tech, Baylor
1985: 6-0 at Kyle
1986: 6-0 at Kyle
1987: 5-1 at Kyle - LSU
1988: 5-1 at Kyle - Alabama
1990: 5-0-1 at Kyle - Baylor

I'm looking forward to the day where Kyle is not just a nice place to play.

Other schools' fans used to come to their away games at Kyle Field because they wanted to experience the off-the-field hospitality, uniqueness, people, and pageantry of the campus. Now, they come to College Station because they very much appreciate the on-the-field experience of beating the Aggies on their home turf something that used to happen less than routinely. There is no special aura attached to Saturdays during football season as long as Jimbo and his minions coach … and the team plays … so especially and horrifically bad.

The Yell Leaders leading the 12th Man Student Body in yells throughout the game created what was once the most intimidating home-field environment in all of college football. Ask Brett Favre - or anyone else who played here back in the day.

This "new army" bull**it of throwing out a bunch of generic sound-clips between every play has almost completely killed what was once our greatest home-field advantage.

Losing at Kyle started about the same time we got rid of the team standing in front of the 12th Man singing Spirit just before kickoff.

used to be an "us", now its 12th Man and them

I've followed Aggie football since 2007 and I've never known Kyle to be a particularly difficult place to play. Teams beat us there regularly, and there was a time period where we were even better on the road than at home. Even in Johnny's first year we dropped 2 at home (that we shouldnt have).

When you are not very good, you tend to lose games and home . . . and also away.

At the rate we are going and if this was high school, every team would have us as their homecoming opponent, even if the game is played at Kyle Field
