If we dont spot them 17 points in 5 minutes due to a comedy of errors at the beginning of the game, we easily win an ugly game by 10+ points. South Carolina had 68 yards with 2:00 left in the first half. The Miss St game was a similar situation where a string of poor discipline and mental errors cost us the game. Some of this is to be expected when playing so many freshman, but much of the blame should be placed on coaching if they are not being mentally prepared. Jimbo has really failed in this area more than any this season, and needs to save face by firing the offensive line coach immediately and placing a priority on improving the oline play. Flame away.

But it did happen and I have a lot of confidence it will happen again if our suspicions of the ineptness of our coaches are true. Just like the Sumlin era, homeboy recruits lights out and is all "don't worry about practice, see you on Saturday".

What coaches has he fired previously? I ask as his reluctance to acknowledge his mistakes might prevent him from firing one of his choices.

Agree OP but at this point, in year 5, kicking ourselves in the nuts is becoming the norm not the exception. And that's the major issue and fear going forward with this staff.

You essentially described preparation, execution and holding people accountable in football. This can fairly be pointed all at one guy.
