Dabo pulled DJ in third qtr bc of turnovers and terrible offense.. so appears you are allowed to make a QB change and bring in a 5 star freshman QB to replace an ineffective starter.. Jimbo still must think it's a 15 yd penalty if you pull a QB that is turning the ball over or just sucking

Nothing spectacular so far. Bailed out by a few Syracuse penalties. But he does have them about to score when down 21-10 to Syracuse.

Doing well. I'd wager that Clemson comes back and wins.
Amazing what a difference a simple substitution can make.

Edit: how they doing now? It's like some don't realize that a change at the right time can spark the team.

Had 3rd and 25 and Cuse gave a first down on a super dumb penalty then another dumb penalty and now in the red zone

ACC refs bailing out Clemson. QB tip-toeing down the sideline, gets knocked out of bounds, and they call a flag on a would-be 4th and long. Ridiculous.

The point was that our coach is inept

By all means play Conner…. It'll never happen barring injury but even if it did it wouldn't matter… you'd still be hamstrung by poor coaching

This board has been calling for the backup qb since Jimbo got here…

Someday this board will figure out the lowest common denominator…

For the record. I agree on common denominator. I'm just looking for the largest value numerator for now. I'm not saying couch coaches know best, but I sure as hell don't buy the jimbo is smarter than all of us bc he's the football coach. We've all seen enough to highly question his decision making ability.

Dabo said everyone was trying to make a QB change and indicated Klubnik was not ready.

On his 1st drive that went 80 yrd... there were 30 yrd of Syracuse Personal Foul penalties, 18 yd on a 1/2 passing and the rest were rushing yards.

ACC called the refs at half, there has been a lot of penalties called on Syracuse in 2nd half, that personal foul on sidelines to bail Clemson out of a 4th and 15 was absurd, followed up by the no call on Clemson for throwing Syracuse QB to ground 3 yards out of bounds.

You played football in your life? I can't tell. Just watch Weigman's past film and his spring game, and he's clearly the guy who will win us the most games. We've seen the other QBs on our team. Good lord.
