The OL is bad. And they aren't getting physically dominated, but rather showing bad technique and discipline.
I can't link clips, but we saw Aki get smoked time and time again around the edge as a tackle. He's kick sliding into his pass set while the end is just torching him without Aki hardly even getting any paws on him. I understand Aki isn't an every day tackle, but he's certainly had some practice reps there and he looked like he's never pass-pro'd in his life. He's been consistently bad every time he has played.
We are absolutely horrendous at picking up any sort of twist or blitz in pass pro. I watched Wykoff chase the first guy on a stunt into the backfield while Anderson (I think) looped and had a free run at King. He literally ran after him while the looper filled his spot. Proper technique is to switch and Aki take the pin guy while Wykoff passes him off and picks up the looper. We get beat on that twist multiple times a game because our eye discipline and./or communication is horrible. Achane isn't a very good blocker either which doesn't help the issue.
Foster finally snapped the ball a bit better, but up until this past week his snaps (and Wykoff's too) were brutal. I think we saw Mrs. Foster post on here that coach changed the way he snapped and he hated it.
A lot of it can get ironed out with some time playing together, but I am not encouraged by what I have seen from a technique standpoint. That falls on coaching.
