Love the optimism. But we really haven't seen anything to suggest he is about to break out. Sadly, our QB can't even throw a spiral; hoping for crisp passes isn't likely.
I've seen him look off a receiver exactly once (actually completed the pass).
All we see him do consistently are all the wrong things:
- inaccurate passes
- slow delivery
- stare down his receiver
- leave pocket when he doesn't have to
- throw into double coverage
He is fast but he isn't a good runner.
I wish he were close or showed signs of being close but he hasn't done that. Don't set yourself up like this.
If by some miracle he plays well, great. But what you are likely to see given Bamas D, is actually a worse version of what you have seen…don't forget last quarter of MSU…that is what I expect.
Again, if you start King, you ride King. If you bring in CW into a disaster when guys are not giving a 100 percent and you are getting killed you actually create a much worse situation for CW than if you let him start. Jimbo needs to Malle a decision. If he thinks it is King, then run with it. King playing poorly as expected, cannot be a reason to run to CW.
