King is a turnover machine. It's amazing that Jimbo made him the starter. 7 turnovers in less than 4 games of play. Any other school would start someone else.

Replay showed his throwing hand hit a DL hand and then he was holding his thumb mostly. Didn't look cut. But if there was a serious break or tear, I think we would have heard by now and they wouldn't have already put him back in the game. I'm guessing some sort of strain and he will rest and start next week.

Looked very similar to the Dak Prescott injury and that required surgery and a 4week min recovery.

Correct. Plus the last 7-8 minutes of MSU. So roughly 3.25 games.

King has not beaten a P5 team in his career

King hasn't been the starter. He was replaced, like the guy was crying about. "Any other school" I suppose includes A&M.

Go ahead and play King vs Alabama. That will once and for all time settle the debate about Haynes King. If he does good, great. Play him the rest of season. If he throws 2-4 int's, that will end all of the debate on him. We can then come back with Conner vs South Carolina with a great opportunity for him. If he is really good then play him the rest of the year. If Conner is not better than the others, bring back a healthy Max for the rest of the year. Conner can red shirt.

This plan should expose all Texags' armchair QB opinions. I believe Max will prove to be and to have been the best option for all of this year. Conner will be great in years to come. King will hit the portal.

So, you think that, if you beat Bama, you are good and, if you play bad against Bama, you're a bad quarterback? QB's can play good in a loss especially against Bama. The strength of the opposition should factor in on what is "good."

Looked like a dislocated thumb to me. Which unlike other fingers is very difficult to get set back in and not only painful but basically can't hold much less throw a football for several weeks. But I haven't had time to see / hear official news.

Many times requires surgery with 4 week recuperation time.
